(Nashville, Tennessee...) -April 12, 2012-Fontanel Mansion, in cooperation with Word Entertainment, is pleased to announce the launch of The Message Live, an exciting new concert series featuring performances by some of the biggest names and brightest new artists in Contemporary Christian music. Multiplatinum and award- winning Contemporary Christian group Point of Grace are set to kick off the series in the state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar Studio Gallery at Fontanel at 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 29, 2012, and Dove Award-winning Sidewalk Prophets follow on May 13. The show will be broadcast on SiriusXM's The Message channel 62.
"I am so honored to be working with The Fontanel to launch this one-of-a-kind musical event," said David Breen, VP of Touring and Live Events for Word Entertainment. "With just 350 seats and the artists often in an acoustic setting, it will not only be a chance to hear great music and the stories behind hit songs but it also gives fans the opportunity to spend quality time with artists they love and hear some great new music."
In the 20 years since Point of Grace first formed, the group has earned 27 #1 songs, 13 Dove awards, two GRAMMY nominations, career album sales in excess of seven million with multiple Platinum and Gold certifications, and one of the Top 10 best-selling artists in the history of Contemporary Christian Music. Just two days after appearing at The Message Live, multi-platinum and award- winning trio, Point of Grace (Shelley Breen, Leigh Cappillino, Denise Jones) will release their twelfth studio album, A Thousand Little Things on May 1, 2012. "A Thousand Little Things" is the title track and first single off the new album.
Their background may have made it look easy-after all, Sidewalk Prophets toured with Jeremy Camp and Audio Adrenaline on the strength of independent albums, then rode the popularity of their first Word Records release, These Simple Truths, to a Dove Award for Best New Artist and a nomination for Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year. "The Words I Would Say" hit #3, "You Can Have Me" went Top 20, a Christmas single, "Hope Was Born This Night," hit the Top 10, and "You Love Me Anyway" went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Christian Singles chart. Their new album, Live Like That, hit stores March 27, 2012.
